Weekly photo challenge: Street life

I love colorful streets. And I saw one of my favorite streets from the window of a coffee-shop in Llanberis. There was literally no one around at 3 pm; the neighborhood was colorful yet quiet and peaceful, and the backdrop of the mountains gave a very serene look to the place.

Check out my entry to this week’s challenge:

The sleepy streets of Llanberis. Wales 2011.

A perfect juxtaposition is Tokyo’s streets; busy with people even after midnight, lights flashing, the sound of voices, rustling of shopping bags, excited chatter and non stop footsteps.

Harajuku street on a weekday morning. Tokyo 2013.
